DIY E-Commerce Platform Kartrocket Raises Funding From 5ideas, 500 Startups & Others
Delhi based startup BigFoot Retail Solutions that runs Kartrocket, an e-commerce platform for SMEs and retailers has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in a seed round led by 5ideas Startup Superfuel. Co-investors include Dave McClure’s 500 Startups and angel Jatin Aneja.
Kartrocket provides a do it yourself e-commerce platform for SMEs and retailers. The platform provides features such as design templates, domestic and international payment options including cash on delivery, shipping platform (ShipRocket), shipping dashboard. The company also states that the stores created on the platform are mobile ready, however, it’s not clear whether the platform allows one to manage one’s store through mobile or the stores are mobile ready for the consumers.
Besides that, the platform also allows retailers to integrate and manage orders across marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon. Other features include ability to integrate coupons, marketing tools, gift certificates, Facebook selling, onsite SEO, Google Analytics, among others. Pricing & transaction fees: The platform offers three monthly plans at Rs 1500, Rs 3000, Rs 7000. It appears that the company is not targeting small scale retailers. Comparatively, Shopify which recently launched its service in India offers four monthly plans at Rs 750, Rs 1550, Rs 3150, and Rs 9560.
